In some of them, details such as picking up Devil Points seem to become a bit annoying. I want to say that hopefully the next route/season will be better since it should be going into a different arc/plot but who knows~ I guess I will see lol.App developers build up all sorts of games for our smartphones. I didn’t want to be harsh, but after so many of the past few routes lacking story and romance, I think I’m honestly getting a bit tired of it lol.
The Dragonkin thing was loosely explored aside from them being oppressed so Felix wants revenge, alongside reviving his friends and yeah, it was pretty much a snooze fest. The romance was super bland and honestly nothing about this route interested me. I thought that since Willem was older and a previous headmaster etc, it would make the story a bit more different and engaging in other ways compared to the previous routes but nah, honestly, it was as cookie cutter as a lot of the other routes. Anyway, I have to admit that I struggled with this route. On the other hand, his proposal of love towards the heroine was rather sweet, since he knows that he’ll live longer than her, but it doesn’t matter since he’ll stay with her for as long as she can and even have children with her lol. I’m surprised Willem got practically no punishment lol, but I thought it was really nice how he was able to live in the heroine’s village with the other guys and actually have a lot of company! He’s been lonely most of his life so being able to spend a lot of his days here with such loud people must be a blessing. I wouldn’t mind it if it was explored more but here, it’s literally just there to reinforce that the heroine is “the one” and it’s so unnecessary that I hate it lol. Not gonna lie though, I reallyyyyyy hate the trope where she was the one who saved him in the past and they’re like destined to be together even more because of that, like omggg it’s so overused it literally kills me to read it. I feel sorry for Willem though, he’s so perplexed about how he should handle everything so he kinda ends up making both sides hate him, since he can’t allow them to hurt Felix, but at the same time, he can’t allow Felix to hurt the heroine. Yet they were proved wrong by humans and ended up losing the war, I guess it’s pretty understandable why Felix is so hung up on all this then. It’s kinda saddening to think that the Dragonkin were geniuses capable of advanced technology and weapons, but they chose to never delve in them because they believed that peace could always be achieved through conversation and communication with others. It was so cute to see the heroine hold him like a teddy bear around town so they could explore and relax a bit lol. Not surprised that they’ve tried to check whether a lot of the females they know have the crystal, but of course they don’t~ Nice to see Saella and Eress from the fairy story though! I completely forgot about them lol! Lmao at Willem not being able to handle spicy food, so he panicked and turned into Strange Taffy lolll. It’s kinda sad to think about how Willem has been treated badly as a Dragonkin his whole life because of the war and was used for information and research etc though. And, lol I guess this is becoming similar to that other route (forgot which one) where they’re really just going around to different places finding the Goddess of Light lol, it’s become such a slice of life story with how all the guys are enjoying their little adventure and bonding with Willem. Kinda cliche with the idea that Rembrandt doesn’t really want this world to be destroyed because he doesn’t want to destroy the world of the person who saved his life before (which is probably the heroine).
I guess Rembrandt is shackled by his duty as a surviving Dragonkin so he can’t and feels that it’s wrong to go against Felix? He’s got a real soft spot for the heroine I guess lol, and the same for her since she’s willing to trust and defend him just from her instincts (as usual lol). Just another person walking under the sky and walking on top of earth // just another person with a gaming addiction
